Hi I have a question, if a patient has cataract sx, and we are doing the post management care do we bill with the 55 modifier for every visit on the cpt code or just the initial visit and the post op cpt thereafter?

The physician billing the post-operative care needs to bill the same surgical CPT code as the physician who performed the procedure, and use the same date of service of the surgery. The modifier 55 is added to the surgical code and that payment will encompass reimbursement for all post-operative care - you would not bill separate charges for the individual visits.
