Good morning,
I have a question regarding post-op diagnoses. Should the diagnosis be changed on the visit after surgery to a Z code? We have been using the same diagnosis for the surgery and the post-op visit but it has just been brought to my attention that is incorrect and the post-op dx code should be a Z code. Thank you for your help.
