Good morning,

My question is if a patient had surgery and became hypotensive and blood loss anemia and the trauma provider performed critical services, would I use the post op dx I95.81 and D62? with the 24 on the critical care services. Another question is if the patient has respiratory failure as well after surgery would I use the post op dx J95.821 or J96.00 with the 24 appended to the E/M:confused:

Thank you
