Patient had knee joint replacement , still in global.
On second post op visit, she came in for follow-up for the rash she had developed on first post op visit, from which she developed due to the pain meds and antibiotic ointment. All pain meds were changed on that visit.

On this 2nd visit, she said she again had a reaction to the new pain meds, causing her swollen lips. She went back to original pain med, and taking it on its own, i.e. not in conjunction with other meds, and is doing okay.

Now having trouble sleeping. The plan on this visit was Pain RX, Rx for Sleep, with usual precautions given, and script for PT.

Can I charge for this visit, since it was not a normal post op check-up?

Need some guidance.

Tnx
CW
