Patient had a Total Knee Replacement in December.
In January, she came in with some swelling and leg pain.
Dr. sent her to hospital to make sure she did not have blood clot.

Can I bill this visit to the insurance? It was not a regular scheduled post-op
appointment.

If the answer is yet, can you point me in the direction of where I can get this information to explain to the patient the billing of the visit.
