Post OP diagnosis: Foraminal Stenosis C3-4
The posterior neck was prepped and draped in sterile fashion.
A midline incison was made between C3 and C4 and carried down to the intralaminar space between C3 and 4. A probe was placed in the facet joiint of C3-4 and x-rays were taken which confirmed our position.
A medial two-thirds of the right C304 facet jioint was removed with a high speed bur from the pedicle of C3 to the pedicle of C4. The C4 nerve root was identified. We felt it was free of all compression posteriorly and completely decompressed beyond the lateral border of the pedicle of C3 and C4.
I'm stumped on this one. The doctor wants me to code 63015 which does not seem correct.
Would it be 63020? I don't see a hernation noted.
