Posterior Ethmoidectomy Only... pt had Anterior Eth done at an earlier encounter

Hi all,
I am looking for suggestions on how to code a Posterior Ethmoidectomy ONLY. This patient had an anterior ethmoidectomy done years ago and now is coming back in for recurrent sinus issues and removal of the rest of the ethmoids.

At this visit, they are doing a Posterior Ethmoidectomy. The partial ethmoidectomy code indicates anterior only. The total indicates both. I am unsure if I should code the 31254 partial code, since that patient has already had that done at some point in their past, or if I should send the 31255 with a -52 modifier?

Thanks for any input!
