My Doc admitted a pt. following a vental hernia repair for postoperative management - Can I bill for the admit 99223 or not? Thanks Cricket
 
Is your doc the surgeon?

If you are coding for the surgeon, then this is in the global period. You'd only be able to bill if there was a need to return to the OR.
