A pt is four days post op and is seen in triage for bp evaluation due to swelling and has severe pre-eclampsia, is this billable? Patient's dx for delivery was severe pre-eclampsia if this helps.
 
Hello, I am not an expert, I am still learning and someone will respond to your post but for now... my thoughts: it's billable because BP, severe pre-eclampsia is not a normal postpartum course and it needs urgent medical attention=billable.
