Patient s/p Nephrectomy 2 wks and now admitted for fever...workup showed no infections and final diagnosis is fever....can i use 780.62 (postprocedural fever) thanks
 
I would probably use 780.60 if I thought it would be covered. Is this for an office visit or diagnostic exam? The post procedural code seems like a stretch since it has been two weeks.
