In determining to assign measure 110 for flu vaccination....the measure states "Percentage of patients aged 6 months and older seen for a visit between October 1 and March 31 who received an influenza immunization OR who reported previous receipt of an influenza immunization".....so if the patient is NOT being seen for the visit I am coding within that date range, BUT...they HAVE recieved the vaccine in the past, I would still code G8482??:confused:
 
I have been coding the G8482 for that measure. My reasoning is they did receive the injection during those months. I am reporting they received it during a specified time, not that they received it today.
