Hello! I have been coding for a while but had an office manager that took care of all Medicare compliance in our office. She recently "retired" and gave no instruction on any of the PQRS stuff or the new Medicare MIPS. I am trying to learn but am having some difficulty understanding. I found a book by Greenbranch Publishing called "ABC's of Quality Reporting". Anyone used it? Any thoughts on the book or other ways to learn this? Thanks so much!

CMS has recently put together several webinars on the various components for MIPS. If you sign up for emails from CMS, they will notify you about Medicare Learning Network (MLN) webinars.

Also, if you Google "Medicare MIPS webinars" you should be able to find a link to the webinars they've done so far. There are 4 components to the MIPS quality score and they've done a webinar on all 4 individual areas as well as some overview webinars on both MIPS and APMs (Alternative Payment Models).
