my anes. physicians have not been reporting PQRS wanting to do this year. They only provide anesthesia, no pain management, only see patient on the day of surgery, for pre op eval, anes, and post op. when looking at the anes cluster, for smoking cessation, it states anes or poxy, when the surgeon see patient prior to surgery, can we use that documentation from physician, can the surgeon be considered a proxy? I think I am really going out there but never hurts to ask.
