We haven't been doing ultrasounds but a few months and need
some help in understanding the differences in the CPT Codes:
(thyroids, lymph nodes, neck & parotid)

We started out using:
76536 for ultrasounds + 38505 if FNA was performed
Now the doctors are using 76536 + 10022 if FNA was performed

When I read the descriptions, I’m not sure which is correct.
Can you help me in any way with this dilemma?
