Hello,
We are wanting to provide and bill for COVID testing prior to admission into our residential treatment center. Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, we will be billing under a CLIA Wavier utilizing CPT 87635. I am finding conflicting information on the diagnosis code to utilize. Also, can we utilize a standing order and test that day without an evaluation and management service? Do we bill for the swab and the test? We are a community mental health center so I am struggling to see if we should bill with POS 53-CMHC or 55? So many questions. Thanks in advance for any information you have.
