Wiki Pre Screening No charge Visit

If the Dr. see a pt. for a pre screening visit that is a no charge visit and the pt. schedule's the procedure then for some reason cancels the procedure( say 1 to 2 months have gone by with no pending appointment), can you turn around and bill for the visit?

I would think not if you tell the patient that the pre screen is a no charge. Or did you tell them it was nocharge as long as a procedure is performed?

We don't, if they are Medicare you don't have a covered diagnosis for the visit anyway.
