Has anyone experienced the billing for a Speech language Pathologist ( Speech Therapist) for a preemie newborn (1 month old) in NICU.
What is the correct code for a acute hospital to bill?
I have a claim where the hospital is billing Revenue Code 440 for general speech therapy.
Should this visit be included in hosptial services like the neonatal nurses since the SLP is not doing any therapy?

The hopsital is contracted under percentage of billed charges reimbursement.
