How is everyone getting the Dr's in their practice ready and their notes, note worthy for 10? I need some ideas LOL, for and old school Doctor who will do what I ask him to but I know he is not getting how much detail I am going to need.
 
Hi Dorthi,

I've heard several ideas, as I'm sure you have, but the one I like the best recommends you begin with the top 10-15 diagnoses used in your practice. You can expand that to any number you want, of course.

Each week select one diagnosis and review the documentation requirements or the necessary elements to capture that one diagnosis. It would most likely be a short discussion and the doc is not overwhelmed with having to learn many code requirements.

Also if you could tell them that if they can tell you the information as if they were telling you a story it would open their eyes at how much more detail they need to add.

Devil is in the details and I-10 is nothing short of needing details.
