I need more detailed information on Prescription drug Management. Is physician gets points for even if he is renewing/cancelling/ changing/resuming the same old prescription or even saying continue the current medication.
This is very confusing, because I though they only get point for prescription drug when they are actually making changes to the prescription not just saying continue taking drugs.
Any help would be helpful
Thanks

I would say the physician should get points for RX drug managment because a decision to continue a particular medication might be considered “prescription drug management” since you would be managing the patient's prescription medicine and since a decision to continue a patient's current medication may involve as much risk as a decision to initiate a prescription drug regimen.

Thank you guys for your clarification. I guess they do get points in decision making even if resuming the same old prescription without making any additional changes.
