I have a patient who comes to the Cancer Center to receive IV hydration to prevent nephrotoxicity from Cisplatin. The physician documented that she is a high risk patient. She receives IV fluids on the day of the chemo treatment but also comes in on non-treatment days for fluids. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are looking for a dx code , you only have the cancer code to use, you might also look in the V code section for prophylactic administration.
