What are you injecting? If it's not a tendon sheath, ligament or aponeurosis, it won't be covered.

20550 Injection(s); single tendon sheath, or ligament, aponeurosis (eg, plantar "fascia")

Hi, I work for internal medicine as well and I use that code often with a dx pertaining to a tendon sheath and I have not had a problem getting reimbursed.
