Hi,

Have an interesting procedure that I would like some help on.

The physician did an EGD with replacement of a PEG tube and a J tube was advanced through the PEG tube into the small bowel (the Jtube had migrated into the gastric lumen). This tube was replaced during the EGD and not percutaneously.

Hello
This is not my field but I have seen 43246 billed with 43761 since the PEG tube is a replacement and the J tube is being corrected. Has anyone else seen it coded that way?
