Hello, I am a CPC-A and I am looking for a PT Remote position with 15 to 20 hours per week.
I have experience in charge entry and posting using ICD-10, CPT, Modifiers and E/M as well as Pro Fee coding for Internal Medicine and Preventative Cardiology and OB/GYN.
Currently I am employed as a Billing Specialist 2 for a local Pathology Lab in Tallahassee, FL.
Any interested parties may contact me at:

I would be happy to forward my resume to you.

As a new coder it will be difficult to become a remote coder. You learn so much when you work with other coders. They don't teach you everything in the classes. Most people will not hire a new coder who wants remote.

I would ask what the goals are. Is the volume so many charts per hour or day. What is the minimum amount of hours are required. Ask what your error rate can be as your work will be checked.

Thank you for your insight on newly credentialed remote coding positions.
However, there are rarely any coding positions in Tallahassee. That is why I am looking for a remote position, full time or part time.
What can I do to get people notice me?
Thank you for your time,
