I was hoping to utilize Project Xtern, but there are no participants in my area, Watertown, NY. There is nothing within 100 miles! Does anyone know how to change this and try to get more local facilities involved in this?

I just did the same thing, tried to sign up for a Project Xtern opportunity and there was only 1, way on the opposite end of the Twin Cities, disappointing. My thought is that maybe the opportunities are available directly through the school or organization through which a coder was trained? I was not aware of any through CareerStep.
