What is the code you would use for prophylactic radiation? A patient is being treated for Lung cancer and using radiation to the brain prophylactically. we used to use V07.8 but I am unalbe to find a code for it in ICD-10

I too was a little at odds with that specific scenario. I use Z41.8 Encounter for other procedures for purposes other than remedying health state.
The heading guidelines leads to this code see attached below.

Encounters for other specific health care (Z40-Z53)
Categories Z40-Z53 are intended for use to indicate a reason for care. They may be used for patients who have already been treated for a disease or injury, but who are receiving aftercare or prophylactic care, or care to consolidate the treatment, or to deal with a residual state

Excludes2: follow-up examination for medical surveillance after treatment (Z08-Z09)
