Wiki PRP and Joint Injections

Hello,

My provider is now doing PRP injections into joints. I know it is not covered by any insurance and we have the patient pay for kit and sign ABN. Can I still bill for the joint injection and fluoro? I.e. knee pain 20610?

We usually bill it under 0232T and hope that one day it will be a covered code. I would keep an eye on this code to see if insurance companies eventually start paying it. We also use this code for Bone Marrow Injections.
