It depends. If I was billing an insurance carrier I'd bill it twice (quad + knee). Since PRP is not covered our docs charge a fee up front. Usually $1,000 - $2,000 per site. Do you collect up front?

Yes, this will be billed to the insurance company. I appreciate the advice.

I don't work in the office. I'm not sure if they collect up front. I am with the billing company. The only thing I do for this office is code their Hospital Consults and Surgeries.
