I am hoping that I can get some answers here regarding the correct coding for PRP injections. The issue that I am running into are denials because using the unlisted procedure code of 86999 is not fee scheduled or on the ASC. According, to medicare you should use 0232T. I have also come across that 36513 is being accepted in NY and Oregon would this work in New Jersey? Is there a better code for these injections that are fee scheduled? any insight to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
