this is the doctors impression:
Chronic daily headache with migraine exacerbations and underlying pseudotumor cerebri

I am under the impression that headaches are a clear symptom of the pseudotumor cerebri. Although other coders I work with have coded these symptoms as well stating that the doctor is treating the headaches indivually. Any opinions on this?

symptoms

Severe, migrainelike headaches can be a symptom of pseudotumor cerebri. Coding guidelines say you do not code the symptom if it is a symptom of the condition, so I agree with you, code just the p c.
