Can a Psyc APRN sign off on a Behavioral Health BPSA, Treatment Plan and Session on their own or can they do this under the licensed provider? They do not have their FL licenses yet.

Can the APRN see a client for Psyc services for 30 mins sessions and bill out 90832?

Trying to help a office out and making sure billing is correct. Please help.

No provider should perform services of any type without having the proper state licensure. I manage a practice in GA and until the provider is fully licensed with the proper licensure, they can not perform any type of services.

I agree, a provider not licensed to practice in a given location should not be providing any services at all. Doing so is most likely illegal. The provider should not be seeing patients, reviewing records or documenting in charts until they are licensed. Without a license, you are just like any other person off the street.

When we have a provider that is waiting on licensure, we use them as case managers, they see the patients and document but we just don't bill.
