The patient couldn't come in due to a flare in her MS. So the doctor did a phone visit in lieu of her coming in. Can I bill for this? If so how would I go about doing it?
 
Look at 99441 - 99443 and guidelines to see if it qualifies You may also want to check with the payer too for limitations. The one I work for we allow up to 2 per year for established patient for a psych diagnosis. These codes also have limit if there is a face to face involved with X number of days before and X number of days after.
