My billing dept. is getting denials for 2 sets of Physical Therapy codes that are bundling:97140/97530 AND 97018/97140. Medicare is stating that 97530 needs a modifier and that 97140 does as well. Does anyone have any insight as to what these would be? I typically do not bill PT. Thanks!
