I am interested in determining if pulse oximetry is considered integral to the room and board billed by a facility, or if it can be paid separately? If this is payble, under what circumstances? I would appreciate any coding resource detailing this information.

We consider it part of the E&M, unless it's the only thing the pat comes in for,
in that case it's the only thing charged.
