Pt had needle stick injury, but provider does not state site. Is there a code for unspecified site? I've checked under puncture wound and not finding, but maybe I'm overlooking something. If I can't query the provider for exact site, what code do you suggest I use?

Someone is going to need to query the physician. Unspecified is under the body area affected such as puncture wound abdomen unspecified, punchture wound of finger unspecified etc. It's really poor documentation so someone needs to go over the basics of specificity with the physician.
