AAPC member since January 2014 this is the first time I have posted glad to know I have a sort of family support in my field. I completed my course and graduated May 2014.
New resident to Atlanta, Ga (moved with husband, preacher) and will take national test (2nd time) August 23, 2014.
I have several years of experience in insurance medical billing. However my love is coding. Do not have alot of experience as a coder however I am very knowledgable with the ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS codes for billing and how to use them.
Willing to work in any medical adminstrative position and will stay at business as coder once certified. Willing to do intern work as coder to gain experience while working as well.
Need work really soon. Willing to travel up to 50 miles of Atlanta.
