I have a urologist who is quad A certified. The doctor wants to perform very minor procedures in the office setting. Some that are usually performed in an ASC setting. We can't use a POS of 24 which is ASC but the POS 11 for the office. Some insurance companies will not regonize POS 11 setting for some surgery CPT codes. For example 52234 they will only pay in ASC setting. Is there a different POS that we should be using? or can the doctor location become an ASC location also? Any information on Quad A certification also needed. Thank you.-Edie
