We are having some claims issues with 2 codes which we currently have under a DME coverage category which has some processing restrictions and we are looking at possibly moving the codes into a different coverage category.
The codes are - 93228 & 93229. The 93228 appears to be a professional service but the description on both codes is very similar and I'm not sure if the 93229 is only the device itself or if that also has a professional component.
