I hope someone can help me. I have questions about return to surgery. While on call this weekend the surgery had do surgery on a patient who had a post op tonsillar hemorrage. (Not his orginal Patient).
When can the code 42962 be used? Is is used for this type of situation?

NOT my area of expertise, but 42962 seems to fit the scenario you describe. (Of course, the documentation will need to support this. )
