I Have a physician I need to bill for that helped another physician during surgery, and only did the placement of transcystic biliary guidewire with fluoroscopic guidance. The 450 cm guidewire, using an introducer, was placed into the cystic ductotomy using fluoroscopic guidance. The guidewire was then passed into the duodenum for a gerous length. The remainder of the placement of ballon'tipped catheter and continuous surgery was done by the other physician. I do not bill for him, and probably they will code the full cpt, that includes placement of guidewire.

Any suggestions?
