Hi there,

I bought a 3 book package from a friend. She said that her prof told her that she would be fine using the 2010 version of HCPCS for the 2011 exam. Is this true?? I know as a rule you need all current year books so I'm really doubting this. Please help!

Thanks in Advance!!

yup true. If you can get a 2011 this year that would be best, but if money is an issue (as it was for me) the 2010 HCPCS level II is okey dokey. That, and there weren't that many HCPCS level II questions.... :)

but do make sure you bring your 2011 CPT and ICD-9.

Good Luck there were a lot of code changes in the HCPCS book in 2011 and yes there are only 5 questions on the test.... I agree with Stephanie if its a $$$ thing then stick with it but if not buy one...

Tip for you:
Just watch out for the wording on the test for HCPCS.... It will be word from word from the test to your book..... Example Wheelchair watch what kind....
