dr. was approached by another dr. in hallway of local hospital about an injury the dr. has. he evaluated and gave some advice and then scheduled her to come into office. can dr. bill insurance for the "visit" in the hallway?
Pretty doubtful ... how do the notes read? How could the physician take any notes? What POS would be billed? You can bill for the scheduled visit in the office, but not the previous just for a "by the way" type of thing.
