Does anyone have some input as to the billing guidelines if a patient has a 2nd echocardiograhy performed in doc's office to verify the findings in first echo done at another facility. Not sure if we could bill for this. :D

Echo's have no global no there's so set 'rules' on how often they can be billed; they should be billed based on medical necessity. Depending on the carrier you may encounter some resistance to pay if the billing is too frequent. Maybe you consider biling a limited echo (93308)? I don't think that would be a problem.
