Is anyone having trouble with labs not being paid because dx does not fit with medical necessity? If so, are you manually checking on the acceptable dx before or after submitting to the insurance providers? Does anyone know of a software program that flags any unacceptable dx so corrections can be made before submission.
Are your MDs being made aware of what is acceptable and medically necessary so they can put on the correct dx?
