Hello I had a question regarding the new revised add on code 29826 for 2012.

I can only bill 29826 with 26806-29825, 29827, 29828?

Because my doc pretty much always does an arthroscopic to mini open rotator cuff repair which is 23412 and an arthroscopic subacromial decompression 29826 so does that mean in 2012 I will not be able to bill 29826 with 23412 anymore?

Thanks

I do not believe that you can piggy back 29826 to 23412, because 29826 is an arthroscopic code and 23412 is an open procedure.
However, my surgeons usually do a debridement during the scope. If that is the case, whether it is localized or extensive (29822 or 29823), you can piggy back your SAD code to it.
