Wiki question regarding pacemaker turned off

Hi,

I have a resident who came into our facility with a cardiac pacemaker. They will be turning the pacemaker off but leaving it in. Would I still code this as "pacemaker status" or is there another ICD9 code for turning it off? Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you.
