You might look at the V10 codes which is personal history of malignant neoplasms. For PSA it is listing the code V10.46. This may not help at all. I don't know if there is a difference of having an elevated PSA and PSA.

Sometimes physicians will state "history" when in fact it is a condition that is currently being dealt with. They will state history when, in a previous encounter (even if it is just a day before), the condition was evaluated. I would check the documentation in the medical record. Chances are you'll be using 790.93. I've had physicians state "history of" for conditions that never go away, for example asthma or COPD.

makes sense, I figured as much. Couldn't see there being a history of just elevated PSA.
