Good morning all!

I am filling in for the surgery coder and I have come across two different OPs which I need help with.

OP #1) Pt had Hartmann's procedure with extensive LOA greater than 45 minutes as well as drainage of pelvic abscess and flap repair. I know that LOA is bundled with this code; however, is there ever a time when I would use the LOA code???

OP #2) Pt had a MIRP with resection of right inferior parathryoid adenoma. Is the resection included with the MIRP? What would the code be for the resection of the adenoma?
