:o We have a new physician and he does the Endoscopic Radial Artery harvest for use when doing heart bypass surgery. I can not find any clarification on what is the correct code. The 35600 is for a open harvest of radial artery.The 33508 is for endoscopic harvest of veins and then there is a35500, harvest of upper extremity Vein. Is there a code that I am not seeing? Any suggestion would be appreciated!

I would think that 35600 (Harvest of upper extremity artery, one segment, for coronary artery bypass procedure (List separately in addition to code for primary procedure) would be the correct code.
 
Yes the 35600 code is what we use. I asked at the annual STS meeting and they stated no matter the appraoch use 35600 for the Radial Harvesting
