We are a surgical practice that just recently acquired, ultrasound, and EKG machines. We will be contracting with a radiology tech to perform ultrasounds and echo's in our office. Who's name goes on the claim for billing? "The owner" will not always be in the same suite, and the tech is not our employee, only by contract.
 
Echos

We contract with a company who has a tech in our office to do echos that we schedule. We bill the global code and the echo company charges us per echo that he does a flat fee. So we put our name and NPI number on the claims.
