Hello, I am coding both 51798 and 76700. I am thinking I need to add modifier 59 to one of them. Anybody know? Thanks
 
We use a coding tool in our department. I usually will say if the two codes are bundled together but it says there's no bundling issues that exist between those two codes.
 
I would go to the CMS website and use the NCCI. This is free on their website and you can download and save it to your computer for easy access. CMS updates the NCCI every few months, so you can re-download it and save it as many times as you want. It is an amazing tool that will allow for correct coding on the front end to achieve more clean claim submissions, decrease denials, and maximize your orgnaization's revenue.
